Producer Letter_Game Environment Maintenance

2023.04.12

Thank you very much for playing JobTribes.
I’m Higashi, a producer of JobTribes.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our users and related parties due to recent problems and maintenances. We have also received concerns about the operation system, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

This letter aims to inform you about the circumstances and our future management.

JobTribes was the first Play to Earn game to launch on PlayMining, and we have updated many features since its release.
Especially in the Play to Earn game industry, trends and users’ needs change rapidly, so we have made many updates in a short period of time in order to meet your expectations.
At the same time, we have accumulated “technical debt” due to the rapid introduction of features that we did not anticipate at the time of release, which has resulted in the occasional issues.
We have decided that it is time to make overall system refurbishment and optimization in order to continue stable operation in the future.

Since the JobTribes management team believed that there are still many issues to be addressed in the game experience, and at the same time we have received a lot of requests, we wanted to continue to make further functional updates to the system.
The roadmap we previously published is a statement of our intent to do so.

However, in developing new functions, the scope of impact on the current environment is larger than expected, and it has become difficult to conduct new development while at the same time revamping the current system.
In light of this situation, we have determined that it is necessary to temporarily suspend new developments and concentrate resources on rebuilding the game development environment.
We will once again proceed with the new element implementations after resolving the currently occurring problems and improving the overall response time.

The NFT Quest will continue to be operated with the highest priority, and the current regular contents such as lottery events will also continue to be held.
On the other hand, it will take several months to rebuild the development environment.
For this reason, we had planned to upgrade the Labyrinth Quest with new functions, but we have changed the plan to do so after the entire system is upgraded. We will instead update the Quest to the extent that we can implement them in the current state.

As for PvP, we will review matching and the duration of PvP in response to the many user comments we received during the “ANOTHER BATTLE ARENA” event.

The roadmap that we have released will be re-released following a careful review of its contents and adjustments based on the time required to rebuild the game, including the release date, as soon as the udetails are finalized.

We would like to sincerely apologize to our users for the recent issues and maintenance that have impacted the quality of the game experience.
We also want to express our gratitude to those who have provided valuable feedback and messages of support. Your input is important to us and we will take it into consideration as we work towards improving the game.

Moving forward, we remain committed to meeting the expectations of our users and delivering a better Play to Earn experience. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to providing you with an enjoyable gaming experience.
